CURRENT RUNNERS

ATTA BOY ROY

After an impressive 2010 bow in a Turf Paradise allowance race, ATTA BOY ROY burst into national prominence with a spectacular victory in the Grade II Churchill Downs S. on Kentucky Derby day!  Ridden by Calvin Borel, ROY went to the front and never looked back, leaving several of the nations best sprinters in his wake.  His next target is the Grade III Aristides S., also to be run at Churchill Downs on May 29, 2010.  GO ROY!

ATTA BOY ROY was voted WA champion sprinter and handicap horse in 2009.  He set a new Emerald Downs track record (also the Washington state record) for 6 furlongs, going that popular and very often run distance in 1:07 flat.  He was purchased from the Blue Ribbon Farm consignment in the WTBOA 2006 Summer Yearling sale for $4,500 by R E V Racing, and is trained by Valerie Lund.  He was bred by Pat Murphy and Blue Ribbon Farm in partnership, and foaled and raised at Blue Ribbon Farm.
